Behind Segunda Minimano is entrepreneur
Hanna Salastaro.
Segunda Minimano was founded out of love for children's clothes and families with children.
. The idea to start the company came from a passion for recycling. t
When I moved to Costa del Sol, I noticed that the culture of
recycling in Spain is really different and
I constantly missed going around the flea markets. The idea was born from that to set up your own used children's clothing and accessories store.
I myself have 1 and 5 year old children with whom
recycling has been part of the family's everyday life. I wanted to bring this opportunity as well to Costa del Sol.

Segunda Minimano's idea is to create a cozy shopping place for modern children's clothes and supplies.

Clothes and goods are displayed according to size and category, with the aim of speeding things up
and facilitates making discoveries.

The furniture is designed and positioned so that you can move around easily in the corridors
with carriages.

Since we are a flea market for the whole family, we also built a playground on the premises.
It is important for us to serve the whole family and produce for all customers and sellers the most pleasant buying and selling experiences and, above all, hassle-free service in the middle of rush years.

Our entire staff consists of customer service professionals and is well informed about different children's clothing brands and their price level.

We are happy to answer questions on site, by phone, by e-mail, etc
on Facebook!
5 facts about recycling:

1. By recycling, you save energy and natural resources.
Clothing pollutes the environment throughout its life cycle, from the production of the material fibers to the disposal of the garment.
Did you know that it takes to make one pair of jeans?
an average of 10,000 liters of water? Producing one cotton shirt consumes 2,700 liters of water. That is as much as the average person drinks in two and a half years. The clothing industry releases an amount of microfibers into the sea every year that is equivalent to 50 billion plastic bottles.
Recycling reduces the need for raw materials and energy. Reuse of often recycled material consumes less energy and water. In this case, the environmental footprint of the final product made from recycled material is significantly smaller than that made from raw materials. Recycling thus also curbs climate change.
The clothing industry is the second most polluting industry in the world, why on earth would you let it
your support?

2. One person's trouble can be another's treasure.
Most of us have things at home that we don't use and that no longer bring us joy. That doesn't mean the same item can't make someone else happy. So it's worth putting a good one around and offering unused items a new life at someone else's place.
The way people get rid of unwanted clothes has also changed. Items are thrown away and not donated. Less than half of used clothes are collected for reuse or recycling and only 1% is recycled into new clothes.
According to some studies, 80 million pieces of clothing are sold annually in Spain alone, and a single Spaniard throws away more than seven kilograms of clothing in the same period. In the world, every second, an amount equivalent to one truckload of lightly used clothing textiles is taken to incineration or landfill

3. By recycling, you can save and make a lot of money.
By selling usable goods to us, you can make money yourself and offer at the same time to the goods a new life. This is the most popular way to participate in recycled fashion.
Just come to our store and bring your own clothes to sell or exchange for similar items of clothing.
Second hand shop traders are usually small entrepreneurs who trade for the love of the sport. Every euro goes to a good cause.

4. Recycling promotes a circular economy and creates new ones.
In a circular economy, no waste is generated and one person's waste is another's raw material. Valuable materials are kept in circulation for as long as possible. The circular economy creates new work in material flows, product design and technology, as well as new services.

5. Recycling can be fun
Talks about climate change, population growth and the sustainability crisis brought along by growing consumption cause many people to feel powerless - what can a single person do in the middle of it all? A lot!
Recycling is a tangible environmental act that requires the contribution of all of us.
Small actions together lead to big changes. Recycling at home can also be fun and recycling is often a favorite pastime for children:! You can never know in advance what you will find. Doing business with us always means an adventure. You can never plan your finds in advance.

If each of us participates in it, we are doing good for our planet.
